Creating a talking story
The meeting is normally a full afternoon or morning and the videotaping is generally a 2 hour process with plenty of
time for breaks. Family pictures and keepsakes are a great addition to the video and can be part of the filming or added
later in editing. We also suggest you loan us some favorite music to be added as appropriate.
Options and Pricing
Option I - The basic package includes a one hour finished video for the family to keep. The interview is one hour
conducted in the home and we will scan up to 10 family photos and use favorite music for all transitions. The videos are preserved on a set of 2 VHS cassettes and 2 DVDs. - $900
Option II - This popular package is a 2 hour interview conducted in the home. It includes up to 20 family photos and a
number of selections of favorite music as background for photos and transitions. The final edited video is preserved
onto a set of 3 VHS and 3 sets of DVDs. - $1,500
Option III - This package is a full 4 hour interview and is conducted in 2 seesions in the home. It includes up to
40 scanned photos and a series of musical selections for segments. The final product is a set of 4 VHS cassettes
and 4 sets of DVDs. - $3,000
Professional Interviewer - We have interviewers available who have worked with many families and
speak a number of languages. - $200
Extra Copies - VHS or DVD available.
Travel outside the San Francisco Bay area
We have made videos throughout the US, England, Germany, and Holland.
The cost of travel and accommodation can be calculated and added to
the package at your request.
Other video services available
